MARTIN ZUCKSCHWERDT // born in 1975 in Bietigheim-Bissingen, grew up in Swabia. He won prizes in the state contest for young musicians “Jugend musiziert”. Martin studied trombone in Karlsruhe, Vienna and Würzburg with Professors Werner Schrietter, Horst Küblböck and Andreas Kraft. His first orchestral experiences were with the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra and the “Junge Deutsche Philharmonie”, followed by temporary positions in Freiburg and Karlsruhe. Since 2001 Martin has been solo trombonist with the Jena Philharmonic Orchestra.
