HOLGER PFEUFFER // born and raised in 1979 in the Bavarian Rhön, won prizes on euphonium at the national level of “Jugend musiziert”. He studied trombone with Professors Herbert Kamleiter, Martin Göß and Andreas Kraft at the University of Music Würzburg. He was a member of the “Junge Deutsche Philharmonie”. From 2001 – 2003 Holger attended the Music Academy of the Bavarian Broadcast Symphony Orchestra. He held several temporary positions, in Würzburg, Koblenz and Coburg, before taking a permanent position as solo trombonist in the Staatsphilharmonie Nuremberg from 2006 up to the present.
